There is a new terminator in town when the Terminator 4 movie came out which was called Terminator Salvation. This is one of the better terminator movies even though the original Arnie movie will always be remembered. In terminator 4 this new terminator comes into the picture after a criminal is put to death and his organs are harvested. They organs including his heart and brain are put into a terminator exoskeleton which makes him a very powerful robot. The problem starts off when the new terminator does not actually know that he is a terminator and tries to help out the humans until a magnetic mine sticks to his leg and blows bits of him away. The leader of the resistance is called John Conner who orders the new terminator to be dismantled however with the help of a girl who he has just saved Marcus the new designed terminator gets away so that he can find out who it was that made him a machine.

It is nearly 20 to 30 years after his death when Marcus wakes up naked in the middle of the desert and has to start thinking what it is that has happened to him. The last thing that he remembers is getting gassed in the prison which was the condition of his death. Now not quite one of the machines however still able to walk amongst then the brain of Marcus plays its own games against Skynet so that humans can live and the robots will be destroyed. In the end of the movie there is a big battle with John and Marcus both trying to destroy the base of Skynet and using the nuclear fuel cells that the terminators run off John is able to blow the entire place into a million pieces. Terminator Salvation is one great movie to watch with exceptional special effects as well as some good acting.

If you are into action sci fi movies then the latest movie terminator 4 is one that you will not want to miss out on. With more action and more terminators than any of the other three previous terminator movies there is nothing that could be really improved on except for some of the lesser special effects. The terminator 4 movie is one that has chasing, guns and action in all of the parts where a guy from the past is looking for answers and finding his way to John Conner. Little does this new guy know that he is part terminator and could at any time kill the hero of the movie series which would probably end the war. John meets up with this part human part terminator but lest the beast go because he knows that this part terminator is the only way he can get into the Skynet terminal to save his friends and strangely enough his younger father.

Sent back in time Reece Kyle becomes involved with john Connors mother back in the early eighties about twenty years before he was even born. Sarah Connor gets involved with this hero from the future which is why John is born and why he must protect Reece Kyle in this time. Once Reece finds our unlikely part terminator hero they travel by road to try to get to John who can teach them about the resistance against the machines. Up against motorcycle terminators, flying terminators and giant robot terminator there is little chance for the human race to survive but with the help of John Conner and other heroes from this Sci fi movies the terminators days are quickly coming to an end. This movie gets 9 out of 10 for being true to the original story line as well as full of action, adventure and even the original terminator, Arnie.

At first back in the late 1980s we got to see big Arnie in one of his greatest roles as the non stop killing machine called the terminator. Later we saw him again but this time as the hero in terminator two, Judgment Day where he saves the day from the new and improved terminator chasing Sarah Connor and her son John. In Terminator 3 there was another twist as big Arnie comes back to play the hero and faces a strong woman terminator with a few tricks up her sleeve. It was around this time that the Sarah Connor chronicles showed up on TV as a series just before the Terminator 4 movie came out. With more action and special effects you might say that the terminator 4 movies is definitely the pick of the bunch unless you are a devoted fan to the Terminator series then you might just pick the original as your all time favorite.

Terminator Salvation is based in the future where the machines have a very strong foothold on the country of America. There are pockets of resistance here and there however these people usually find themselves alone and in trouble. Either dead or as slaves the people of earth end up which is why they need to stop the machines before they are allowed to take over the world. In the new movie you will get to see several other types of terminators like the hunters and destroyers plus the little spies that fly around looking for the last surviving people. Killing these people is usually only the objective of the terminators while a new one is sent out into the wastelands looking like a human and searching for John Connor and his father Reece Kyle. It is this half machine half human terminator who is the last hope for mankind because he is the only one that can walk right through the front doors of the enemy base. Once inside he finds out the truth and is able to help the last of the humans to destroy the terminators building plant. The story works out for the best in the end with all of the heroes except one surviving the hard times in an uncertain world of death and destruction.

Just like all the other terminator movies the forth one is action packed and full of great effects as well as cool stuff blowing up and the bad guys copping hell. Set in the time close to the end of the war when John Conner is a man who has seen many battles and many people die by the machines hand. It is a long way off in the future and suddenly a man appears from nowhere that has one thing on his mind which is to find John.

After the good guys get chased around by the bad robots and some of the goodies get caught by a giant transformer type monster they end up in a prison camp that is for using people first for workers and then for fuel. The heroes escape by the skin of their teeth only to face more problems late once they find the camp with john in it.

Our new hero who was zapped from nothingness like one of the time machines from the first three movies and did not know why he was there however after an accident outside everyone sees that he is a robot, cyborg killer most likely sent to kill the resistance. After escaping again, this time from his own people he manages to change the fate of what is happening around him and saves the others from harm by destroying the robots base.

Terminator 4 is now out on DVD which is one around $20 to watch it as often as you like. Once you have purchased the DVD get your mates over for a Terminator marathon with plenty of snacks and drinks. You will love all of the new machines and bad guys in this latest movie.

Nominated for six awards, Terminator Salvation hit theaters in 2009 surprising Terminator fans everywhere. This movie was the fourth in the Terminator series and varied quite a bit from the others. It was the only Terminator movie that didn’t open at the top box office spot. It came in second on opening weekend. In other parts of the world, the movie opened in first place. Terminator Salvation has a PG-13 rating unlike the past Terminator movies. The DVD was released on the first of December 2009. The movie’s budget was two hundred million dollars making it the most expensive independent film ever to hit the theater.

Terminator Salvation is about Skynet and the remainder of the human race in the year 2018. The area is dry and food is not available to all. People are scattered and live in hidden locations for fear that they will be killed. There are different characters than the previous movies, one being a mute child. One of the heros in the movie is someone that was actually turned into a half Terminator being at one point and doesn’t know until he is wounded. He gives his life to save another in the end of the movie. The movie ends without the war ending. This leaves the story open for another sequel.
